Here are some steps you can follow to behave better at school:

  • Follow the guidelines
  • If you wish to talk, raise your hand
  • Develop a “good” look
  • Participate in extracurricular activities
  • Make contact with unpopular individuals
  • Maintain your concentration
  • Be considerate
  • Make objectives for yourself
  • Ask for assistance

Follow the guidelines

Learning necessitates conduct that allows you to completely participate in the class while also allowing other students to work. A prepared, active, safe, interactive, and assisting student is a good student.

The expectations are often made very explicit in the first few days of school, either orally, in a curriculum, or in writing in an agreement. In general, the expectations are as follows:

  • Listen to your teacher and follow directions.
  • Always follow the teacher’s instructions in class.
  • Maintain silence.
  • Avoid sitting with folks who cause you problems.
  • Be punctual.

If you wish to talk, raise your hand

If you have a question or want to say anything, don’t just yell it or direct it towards your neighbors. Raise your hand, wait for your turn, and then speak when granted permission. Prepare something specific and brief to say so you don’t waste class time babbling.

Develop a “good” look

It’s unfortunate, but many students and professors are shallow; they’ll assess you solely on how you appear. Wear suitable school attire and keep your things clean and nice. You should read at least once about the Good Change, Japanese philosophy.

Participate in extracurricular activities

Your excellent behavior should not stop in the classroom; most schools provide a choice of extracurricular activities that may help you develop new skills and interests while also allowing you to meet new people. Learn more about how extra classes can help you.

Make contact with unpopular individuals

Being well-behaved entails treating everyone with kindness, especially those who are not popular or well-liked. Make friends with folks who are socially isolated or who do not have many friends.

Maintain your concentration

Avoid distractions in class, such as conversing with friends or using your phone. If you’re having problems paying attention, move closer to the front of the classroom or seek assistance from your instructor. If you are stressed out by them, try these techniques!

Be considerate

Respect your instructors and classmates by paying attention when they talk and avoiding impolite or disruptive conduct. You also need to set up your good habits.

Make objectives for yourself

Setting objectives might help drive you to perform better at school by providing you with something to strive towards. Ensure that your objectives are precise, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). Learn more about SMART Goal!?

Ask for assistance

If you’re having trouble with your conduct at school, don’t be hesitant to seek assistance from a teacher or counselor. They can provide advice and assistance to help you improve.

Keep in mind that excellent behavior requires practice and effort. Continue to work on it, and don’t be too harsh on yourself if you make mistakes now and again.
