There are several ways to avoid distractions while studying. Here are some tips that can help you stay focused:

  • Make your atmosphere conducive to learning
  • Turn your phone off or set it to quiet mode
  • Take frequent pauses
  • Keep hydrated
  • Try not to multitask

Make your atmosphere conducive to learning

Find a peaceful and comfortable study location that is devoid of noise and other distractions. To shut out extraneous sounds, you can alternatively use noise-cancelling headphones or earplugs.

Turn your phone off or set it to quiet mode

Smartphones and laptops, for example, might generate disruptions and limit your capacity to focus. Turning off your phone or setting it on quiet mode might help you avoid alerts and phone calls.

Take frequent pauses

Taking brief 30-45-minute breaks will help you stay focused and awake. You can stretch, go for a stroll, or do anything else relaxing during your break.

Keep hydrated

Drinking enough of water will help you focus and remain alert. Drink lots of water throughout the day, especially if you’re studying for lengthy amounts of time.

Try not to multitask

Multitasking might diminish your productivity and raise your chances of making mistakes. Instead, concentrate on one activity at a time and avoid going back and forth often. Increase your productivity with Eisenhower!
