How To Deal With Burnout

I felt blessed, but I needed some rest. I was exhausted in every move, but nothing was done or completed. Perhaps burnout was real to me.

Rotana K., English

Here I come to not complain, but explain if you feel the same and find a sharing of how you could define you are in a burnout condition.

May is not the best month in a calendar year. I have started the 1st with little energy from a break of April. Things do not go as they should always do. Brain is like a brown engine. It roughly pulls and pushes piston, making fraction and noise. Body is like a freak, crawling in the morning and dying zombie at night. I see days and nights worse and worse, so I take myself a challenge if I am worthy enough to live the next day.

If I keep doing the same, result will not be different. I work on 3 parts of time that mix inside me and are messy around. #WhatYouDoing

Past is what I have done. I started and completed a lot of things, but not all of them were finished, long way to their end. They keep me thinking, and I sometimes feel lost in and between both ends (Start & finish edges). I can see they are still existing in me and partially drain my energy when I lose keeping on my track.

Present is what I am doing. People have a #WishfulThinking, which people want something to be true when if it is not, and I have it too. And, I fall into this trap. I do unnecessary tasks from morning until night. I focus on nothing, but feeling, and I keep thinking they have to be that way. Worse day, it will be!

Future is what I plan for. I have personal lifestyle, acadmic, career plan, business wishes, and an integration-into-one plan. The too many and too big stress me out of all the ways, and what I find is a broken bridge in the near future. I feel lost before the day. I could see the worse in the future if I keep doing like these.

[What I Hope Becomes What I feel lost.]

On 19th of 31 days within the month, I decide to make an individual #PDCA for whole days.

The outcomes – I feel and recover from this condition.

Tips:

-re-PLAN and recreate an adaptive map to walk along with current situation

-DO listing tasks on the board of plan

-CHECK on progress, at where I am right now

-ACTION – take advance complement on the rest of tasks’ status
